Most of the time, I think we are not conscious of what we say, do or read. We all have routines. Get up in the morning, turn on the news, read the newspaper, and then start the rest of the day. It would be wonderful if the morning information had a lot of good news, something that left us with good and hopeful feelings as we venture out into our day, but I can’t say that I see it often.
It has been said that you are what you think about. If the morning messages are more negative than positive, I pose the question: what are you thinking about - something positive - possibilities that they can bring? Or are you thinking of something negative? How do you think it impacts your day and the people you have interactions with?
It does come down to conscious and unconscious choices. If negativity is swirling in your mind first thing in the morning, I suggest that you be aware of how you come across to others as you go through your day. Do people think you have a bad attitude, see you as cranky, depressed, irritable, not too easy to be around?
If so, why not try something new?
Why not decide to read or listen to positive messages each morning before your day begins? What could happen to your attitude if you bombarded your mind with possibilities of wonder, courage, kindness, and love in your heart for the world? I suspect others would find that you were easier to be with, that they would notice a change - though they might not be able to put their finger on it, they would notice the difference.
Each morning I come and sit for at least 15 minutes reading a verse from either Psalms or Proverbs. I know first hand the impact this ritual has on my day. The power of reprogramming my mind to move past the negative (I can’t change what has happened anyway ) and to focus on the positive has been so helpful for me. I suggest it may be helpful for you too. Why not try it? You have nothing to lose except some negativity and every bit helps!

You can reprogram your present reality, and begin creating your life by design, manifesting everything you truly desire, just by taking six easy steps. You can begin right NOW.
1. Focus on What You Want to Manifest
You need to quit focusing on what is missing from your life. This includesfocusing on what you don’t want to happen. As soon as you realize you arefocusing on what you don’t have, choose a different thought, or “flip theswitch.”
Shift your focus to what you intend to attract and manifest in your life.Put yourself in a state of receiving and accepting and move away from the state of lacking.
2. Stop Struggling
If you find yourself viewing your present circumstances as the reason for why you can’t have what you want, STOP. Whatever difficulties you are currently facing, know they are only temporary and will last only as long as you continue to give
the difficulties your attention.
Your present circumstances are alive in just THIS moment. What you give your attention to grows. You attract what you focus on. So move your focus away from your current difficulty and you’ll stop feeling the struggle.
3. Live in the NOW
Focusing on the past will inhibit your ability to create. If you find yourself thinking about how things have always been, stop giving the past your focus! If you keep doing things the same way, you’ll keep getting the same results. What’s the
definition of insanity? Doing the same thing again and again, and expecting
different results! Stay in the present moment, live in the NOW.
4. Quit Telling the Same Old Story
Quit sharing your tale of woe with others. When you quit telling your dramatic
story, you won’t have to live up to the story. Replaying the story forces you to
focus on it. It’s impossible to move forward when you’re facing backward.
5. Create Your Life for You
Don’t worry about what others expect of you, or think is best for you. Everyone
has an opinion on how you should live your life… the kind of job you should have,
how you should dress, whom you should be involved with. When you feel
pressure to live up to someone else’s ideals, ask yourself if their expectation
matches yours. If the answer is NO, let it go. You are creating your own life, and
you have to live for you.
6. Don’t Create Negative Energy
Let go of judgments. Don’t decide a situation or a person is “good” or “bad,”
“right” or “wrong.” This practice only creates negative energy. Because like
attracts like, beware of attracting into your life the very thing you judge or don’t
want for yourself.
Making these six simple shifts in your behaviors will allow you to change your life,
live in a higher vibration, and move you closer to a life of riches. TODAY.
